When the drive is worth it
Twenty minutes each way is forty minutes added to every session. Three times a week, that is two hours in the car and roughly a tank of fuel a month. Four reasons that still add up:
- The thing does not exist in Lynn. The Pinnacle obstacle course out at IP26, No1 Bootcamp as a residential reset at Summer Hill House, SKA in Swaffham for a martial arts school that is also a 24 hour gym.
- You already go that way. The Fen Line has Downham Market 14 minutes away and Watlington with its own station seven and a half miles south. King's Lynn station handled 853,200 entries and exits in 2024 to 2025, up from 757,034 two years earlier, so plenty of people are on that line anyway.
- The quiet matters more than the miles. A rural unit at 18:00 is a different experience from a retail park at 18:00.
- You live closer to the other town than to Lynn. Obvious, and worth saying, because the map on most directories assumes everyone drives inward.
